Our clients have had about 85% success and nearly 100% opportunity on our Nevada mule deer hunts for the past twenty years. We are licensed to guide mule deer hunters in Nevada statewide and have statewide special use permits through BLM and US Forest Service permits for the Austin Tonopah District, Santa Rosa District, and the Carson/Bridgeport. We thoroughly scout during the summer months in order to insure you have the best hunt possible.
Our deer hunts are spot and stalk hunts using quality optics. You can expect to see bucks every day. The terrain is beautiful but rugged, so being in good physical condition is a plus. However, hunts are tailored to meet the client's individual needs. Your hunt price includes meals and lodging. For most hunts you will be staying in a ranch house, motel or trailers. Depending upon location, there is a possibility you will be staying in heated wall tents.
For nonresidents, Nevada offers a special nonresident guide draw for mule deer hunters. This guide draw allows nonresident hunters who want to hunt with a Nevada outfitter a greatly increased chance of drawing a mule deer tag, much greater than through the regular draw procedure. We have had draw odds as high as 86% draw success with 19 out of 22 clients drawing tags one year. A couple of our units frequently have leftover tags with 100% of our clients drawing tags in those areas. The guide draw application process takes place in February for the following fall. You will find out by mid-March the results of the draw. You cannot apply for this drawing on your own; you must contact us if you are interested.
We also have Nevada landowner mule deer tags. Season runs August through December.
Prices do not include Nevada hunting license, mule deer tag fees or guide gratuities.
